Fine Dining Events
On select dates, The River House offers more than a traditional bed and breakfast with our exclusive Culinary Experience. Enjoy a six-course tasting menu curated by Executive Chef Sheridan, featuring fresh seafood, wild game, and seasonal ingredients. The Drawing Room Bar & Lounge, located inside The River House, offers a warm, sophisticated setting to enjoy wine, bourbon, or handcrafted cocktails by the fire. Open Thursday through Saturday evenings, it’s the perfect place to unwind before or after dinner.

In addition to stunning venues at The Morris Estate, we offer delicious catering. You can rest assured that Morris Hospitality Group offers the best food and beverage service in the area. Our catering team, led by acclaimed Chef Thomas Sheridan, consists of seasoned professionals with decades of experience in fine dining and upscale bar service. Work with us to design a delicious and creative menu, including tasty hors d’oeuvres, fresh salads, and perfectly prepared entrees.
In-house catering is required at all venues on The Morris Estate. We cater in the Michiana area, including Niles, Buchanan, St. Joseph, New Buffalo, South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, and Elkhart.

Executive Chef Thomas Sheridan boasts a fine dining career spanning over 25 years, rooted in a passion for cooking ignited during his youth at his family’s renowned local restaurant. Specializing in exotic meats and seafood infused with local flavors, Chef Sheridan has developed a bold approach to traditional cuisine. At The Morris Estate in Southwest Michigan, he curates exquisite six-course dinners that blend European-inspired techniques with Midwest ingredients, offering guests an unparalleled dining experience that celebrates both local and globally sourced products.
