There’s more to The River House than just Bed & Breakfast! In addition to a luxurious suite and freshly prepared breakfast, you will enjoy an evening dining experience to remember.
Dinner service is included with your stay and entails six-courses of curated dishes. Chef Thomas Sheridan uses carefully selected ingredients to expertly craft unique bites of fresh seafood, wild game, or seasonal vegetables. Your taste buds will take an adventure that ends with a heavenly dessert, of course!
The Drawing Room Bar & Lounge inside The River House offers a cozy atmosphere to sip a glass of featured wine or bourbon by the fire while the piano plays before or after dinner.

In addition to stunning venues at The Morris Estate, we offer the convenience of in-house catering. No need to sift through lists of caterers. You can rest assured that Morris Hospitality Group offers the best food and beverage service in the area. Our catering team, led by acclaimed Chef Thomas Sheridan, consists of seasoned professionals with decades of experience in fine dining and upscale bar service. Work with us to design a delicious and creative menu, including tasty hors d’oeuvres, fresh salads, and perfectly prepared entrees.
In-house catering is required at all venues on The Morris Estate, including the Chapel, Tent Venue, River House, Blacksmith Lodge, or outdoor events on the estate. Gallery 1245 is also a Morris Hospitality Group venue.
