At The Chapel, every love story becomes part of an ongoing legacy. With a rich history spanning almost a hundred years, The Chapel has played a significant role in the estate’s storied past, offering couples a timeless and historic wedding venue. For almost a hundred years, couples have exchanged vows in our vintage, white wedding chapel. The crisp, white interior offers the perfect palette for ceremony flowers or decor of any color or style.

Nestled on a corner of our stunning estate, the Chapel is a charming venue that offers a picturesque setting for your wedding day. Surrounded by over 400,000 evergreen trees planted over 80 years ago by E.M. Morris, our historic location exudes tranquility.

The Tent Venue

Conveniently located steps from the Chapel, our beautiful outdoor Tent venue is one of the premier outdoor spaces in the area. This event space can accommodate a variety of guest counts and event types, making it ideal for weddings, conferences, and social gatherings. Available from May through October, this versatile venue is the perfect space for both ceremonies and receptions, accommodating different celebration styles. Enjoy a picturesque setting for your special event, complete with an elegant dining space, lively dance floor, and full bar service.

Our venue rental includes everything you need to get started: tables, chairs, and basic place settings. Our dedicated team is here to support you, offering guidance on catering options, timeline, and vendors.

The River House

Planning a more intimate affair? The River House is ideal for intimate wedding receptions, offering our Micro Wedding Package, which includes a reception for up to 50 guests in the Grand Hall at our luxury B&B. The stately 16,000 sq ft home was built by the daughter of E.M. Morris and has been the site of lavish events over the years.

Gather for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and piano music in the Drawing Room Bar & Lounge. Enjoy exceptional catering services as part of our amenities, and experience the culinary expertise of our catering team with a formal dinner in front of the impressive fireplace in the Grand Hall. The River House also makes for a lovely and convenient location for your rehearsal dinner. Lodging at The River House is required.

The Chapel offers spacious lounges for wedding parties to get ready, full of comfort and modern amenities. The Groom’s Lounge features a TV, Xbox console, poker table, full-length mirrors, large closets, and a mini putting green.

The Bridal Lounge boasts multiple hair and makeup vanities and a dazzling 360° mirror room. Each lounge provides private changing rooms and sitting areas with refreshments and essentials, including ironing boards and Bluetooth speakers, ensuring a stress-free and memorable wedding morning.

I would highly recommend Morris Estate for your wedding.

We absolutely loved the Morris Estate as our Venue! The Chapel is perfectly set up for a wedding. From the men’s and women’s dressing rooms in the basement to the size of the Chapel itself. It is perfect. Having the reception right next door is wonderful and makes things so much easier! The tent they use for the reception is so spacious that it feels like a building itself. The grounds provide absolutely gorgeous photos. We worked with our coordinator, and she was the kindest and most helpful person that we have ever worked with. Having a wedding during COVID provided its own challenges, and she worked diligently with us to ensure our day went as smoothly as it could go. We let the Morris Estate team have control of how to set up the reception area with a combination of Morris décor and our own décor, and they made it look incredible.

Our big day at The Morris Estate could not have been any better. Everything was absolutely awesome. The staff was very friendly and Adara, our planner, was amazing. We are getting so many compliments on everything, especially the food. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!! The bed and breakfasts on site were great as well. Us along with our bridal party and parents stayed at each of these houses. Everyone was very comfortable and the staff working there was great.
